Ellen Kay Farber, 31, of  Putnam, died unexpectedly Saturday at home. She was born in Putnam, December 11, 1978 , daughter of William Farber, III and Sharon (Benoit) Aubin.  Ellen was a graduate of Putnam High School, a member of the Putnam Congregational Church.   She had made her home in Putnam most of her life, she was a Sunday School Teacher  and had worked as a Cashier  at Putnam Super Market for several years.  She was a skilled artist, enjoying drawing and photography. She had a great love for her son Devon, and enjoyed trips to the park.  She leaves her mother and step father  Sharon and Paul Aubin of Poultney, VT; her father William Farber, III of Danielson; her son Devon Palumbo of Uncasville, CT; Her brother – Andrew Farber of Poultney, VT, her uncle Jeffrey Benoit of Pomfret; Several, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  A Memorial Service will be Tuesday August 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM the Putnam Congregational Church, 175 Main Street, Putnam.    In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Devon Palumbo Educational Fund, c/o Citizen National Bank, PO Box 6002, Putnam, CT 06260.
