Willimantic - Mariel Rivera, died suddenly Wednesday in Meriden. The beloved nine month old daughter of Joel and Marian (Miller) Rivera of Brook Street, Willimantic, CT.  Mariel was born March 4, 2011 in Putnam.

Mariel leaves in addition to her mother and father, three sisters Kayley Asberry, Jayda Rivera, Daviana Rivera, her grandparents Kurt and Linda Moulton of Franklin, Gail and Barry Lichtenthal of Putnam, Maria Hernandez of Meriden; Luis Marrero of  Meriden and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday December 24, 2011 in Grove Street Cemetery, 250 Grove Street, Putnam. Donations may be made to Mariel’s family to help with cemetery expenses. To share a memory with her family “Light a Candle” at www.smithandwalkerfh.com
