Emma E. Hiser, 88, of Plainfield, CT, formerly of Pittsfield, MA, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. Emma was born August 18, 1923 in Adams, MA. She was the beloved wife of Edward Hiser. 

Emma was a member of the Westfield Congregational Church in Danielson, a member of the Yankee Yesteryear Car Club “YYCC”, and she worked as a bookkeeper for many years.

Besides her husband: Edward; she is survived by a son: Scott Hiser of Lexington, MA; a daughter: Lynne McClements of Plainfield and two sisters Cora Dunn and Ruth Winchell of Florida.

A memorial service will be Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Westfield Congregational Church, 210 Main Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will be private.
