Evelyn Rose Paulson, 73, of Brooklyn, CT passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA. She was born October 9, 1944 in Putnam, CT. The daughter of the late Edmond and Marie (Schroth) Harnois. She was the beloved wife of Larry G. Paulson and they married on October 2, 1980 in Plainfield, CT.
Evelyn was a Communicant of St. Joseph Church in Dayville, CT till its closing in 2017. She worked at Anchor Glass Container Corporation in Dayville, CT, as a Trine Operator, Batch Mixer and for Quality Control. Evelyn later worked as a Supervisor at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn, CT. She was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved to go shopping.
She leaves her husband Larry G. Paulson of Brooklyn, CT; her sisters JoAnn Ormerod and her husband Robert of Danielson, CT, Karen Cote and her husband Jeffery of Taftville, CT; her nieces Samantha Soltesz of Manchester NH, Michelle Comeau of Manchester, NH, Betty-Jo Scott of NC; her nephews Larry Westover of Brooklyn, CT, Donald Steele, Jr. of Danielson, CT; a special aunt Ruth Brodeur of Danielson, CT; also many special friends. She was predeaceased by her brothers Edmond Harnois, Jr. and Edward Harnois and her sister Linda Grow.
