Obituary of John E. Cartier

John E.Cartier, 53, of Woodstock, died peacefully at home on December 4th. He lived the last two years in the house he designed and built on the second highest hill in Woodstock. He was born February 23, 1951 in Worcester, MA, son of John and Jeannette (Phaneuf) Cartier of Dunedin, FL. John loved fishing, hunting, spending time out of doors and time with friends. John was the owner and operator of Windham Antenna and Alarm Company in Woodstock for over 30 years. He leaves in addition to his mother and father, two children Danielle Bedard of Danielson; John C. Cartier of Putnam; a sister Judith Favreau of Woodstock Valley; a brother Jeffrey Cartier of Harwich, MA. A memorial service will be held January 8th at 11:00 AM in the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. No Calling Hours. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in John's memory to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131 Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
