Julia Mary Richard, 83 of Christopher Heights, Webster, MA, formerly of Putnam, died Friday. Born in Providence, daughter of the Kenneth and Iris (Shepard) Woodbury. A Registered Nurse working at the RI State Hospital, and as a LPN at Day Kimball Hospital. An active member of the Putnam Elks Emblem Club. She leaves daughters, Mary Palazzo of Springfield, MA; Angela Dwyer of Dudley, MA; Rose Palazzo-Gagnon of Woodstock, brother Kenneth Woodbury of RI; several grandchildren including Shelley, John Paul and Michelle; several great grandchildren and three nephews. Predeceased by her son, Clement J. "Sonny" Palazzo. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Wednesday March 24, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove St. Putnam.
