Lucille “Lucy" Samuel 71 of Putnam, passed away Wednesday march 9th at the Day Kimball Hospital after a very long illness. Lucy was born in Putnam, September 23, 1933 Daughter of the late Arthur and Flora (Cabana) Tetreault. She made her home in the Putnam area all her life. She loved to play cards, go fishing, spend time with her family, and most of all giving people gifts. She is survived by her husband Thomas C. Samuel; two daughters; Susan Walker of Thompson, Joy Webb and her husband Terry of Woodstock, Pamela Howard and her husband Brad of Putnam; a son Phillip French; a sister Jeannette Walker; Grand children; Morgan Walker, John Tetreault Jr., Andrew, Rebecca & Justin LaBonte, Hannah & Oliver Kelly, Ashley and Brad Howard; seven great grandchildren. Lucy will always be loved and remembered for her love and giving nature. A calling hour will be at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home 148 Grove Street, Putnam, Saturday March 12th from 4 to 5 PM, followed by a reception.
