Marguerite C. Dumaine, a lifelong resident of Danielson, passed away Wednesday, January 29 at the age of 89. Marguerite was the daughter of the late F. Raymond & Lorette (Bernier) Lemieux. She married Robert A. Dumaine in Nov. 1963. Shortly after they purchased their first home in Danielson which they enjoyed for over 60 years.

She is survived by her daughter Danielle Dumaine Williams, granddaughter, Emily Williams, son-in-law, John Williams all of Foster, RI, sister, Claudette Sell and her husband Kenneth of PA, sister & brother-in-law’s, cousins, many nieces and nephews and longtime friends. Marguerite is joining her husband, parents, sister, Theresa & brother, Lem.

Most of her life was spent as a local teacher and proud owner of Sunshine Card & Office Supply with her husband Bob. Marguerite was active in Downtown Merchant groups, the American Cancer Society, local chapter of the Ostomy Assoc. & DKH Woman's Board. Her favorite pastimes were reading, cooking, and planning her next gathering. Later in life she enjoyed time at Learning in Retirement & with the Killingly Public Library book club.
