Obituary of Muriel Stedman

Muriel (Dumas) Stedman, 88, of Danielson, CT, passed away on January 14, 2025, peacefully at home.

Muriel was born May 5th, 1936 in Danielson to Edward and Clara (LaFlamme) Dumas.

Muriel was known for hosting her children’s friends and baking sweet treats for all her visitors. She enjoyed working at the Ice Box of Brooklyn CT and shared her skills of decorating any cake you needed for birthday parties and other occasions.

She is survived by her eldest son Bruce Stedman, Grandchildren Brad and Kyle Provencher as well as Jessica and Caitlin Stedman. She loved that she was able to spend time with her 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Phil Stedman, son Kevin Stedman, and daughter Donna Mae (Stedman) Provencher.
