Obituary of Herbert W. York, III

Herbert W. York, III, 64 of Eastford, CT passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at home in Eastford, CT. He was the beloved companion of Mary Dennison. He was born December 9, 1960 in Worcester, MA, son of the late Herbert W. York, II and Cynthia (Richards) Migneault.

Herb was an outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, live music, dancing, Keno, NASCAR, seafood and taking care of his lawn. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and the sport of curling. Herb lived in Worcester, MA, Manchaug, MA, and Oxford, MA. He had a love for Hampton Beach and the seafood platter at Sea Ketch. Herb also loved spending time with his family. He worked for Center of Hope as a Transportation Driver.

He leaves his companion Mary Dennison of Eastford, CT; his son Ken York and his wife Katie of Worcester, MA; his daughters Stephanie York and her husband Allan DeLisle, II of Dudley, MA and Trisha York of Oxford, MA; his grandchildren Annabella, Olivia, Ellie, Alexa, Aliyah, Mikey, Freya and Ryden; his step father Ken Migneault of Oxford, MA; his brother David York and his wife Pam Noons of Melbourne, FL; his sisters Patricia Smith of Northampton, MA, Debbie Mckenna of Wells, ME and Mary Mattero of Worcester, MA. Also several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Eastford Baptist Church, 133 Union Road, Eastford, CT.  A Funeral Service will follow at the church at 12:00 PM.
