Joyce, I’m so sorry to hear about Linda and I know everybody says that at least she’s not in pain anymore and not suffering but still it’s really hard to let your sibling go because it’s a part of you. I’ve been thinking about her so much lately just remembering the times at the cottage and just that the good times that we had as a family. We need to hold onto those good times. Love you, Joyce.

I look at your dear sister's face..I'm reminded of the hope in the resurrection. I'm reminded that Jehovah knows your sister inside and out. I'm reminded Jehovah through his son Jesus will resurrect her . They know every detail of her. They look forward to seeing her reunited with her family .

Joyce, I remember going with your Mom, Dad and you to take Linda to her School in Mystic
Her showing me where she slept meeting her friends with her big smile.
I was so proud of her when she went to Hartford to testify for the deaf community I would brag about her doing this to my friends for the spunk she had.

[]Linda entered mystic oral school for the deaf when she was 5 years old then as a teen she got transferred to Hartford school for the deaf. she graduated with high school diploma then moved to Mass. she worked some kind of office computer. Then she went to Fla with Robert she loved to play basketball, also she love to watch UConn basketball both men and women. Linda sewed baby clothes for grandkids and knitting and crocheting, hiking, biking, camping with kids.

So sorry for your loss, but Linda really tried hard to fight both illnesses. I am so blessed to have met her and now it’s time for her to rest. Joyce, this is Sue one of the interpreters at Women and Infants (placed by PI) several times with Linda. I just wanted to extend my deep condolences on the loss of your sister, Linda. As interpreters we have the immense pleasure and deep pain of meeting people who impact us when they cross our paths. I will remember your fierce advocacy on behalf of your sister and the devotion of care you gave, to both her and her husband.
