Obituary of John J. Brown, Jr.

John J. Brown, Jr. 85 of Thompson died February 17 at Villa Maria in Plainfield. He was the beloved husband of the late June (Simms) Brown, she died in 2004. John was born on March 8, 1939 in Fall River, MA, son of the late John and Elsie (Olson) Brown.

He was Head Dyer at Belding Corticelli Thread Co., and retired from Coats of America. John loved gardening and reading, was a history buff and loved sports.

He leaves his son David Brown and wife Judy of Southbridge, MA, grandsons Jim Dumas, David and Nate Brown, son Daniel Brown of Illinois, daughter Dyann Ferraro and husband Jeffrey of Thompson, grandchildren Anthony, Jonathan and June, siblings Linnea Ricker of Maine, Anthony Brown of Connecticut.
