In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Welch

February 6, 1959 - March 10, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Welch, who left us on March 10, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Chuck" Welch, Jr., he died in 2015.

Born on February 6, 1959, Patricia grew up in Wethersfield, CT, and called Killingly, CT home for nearly 50 years. She was the beloved daughter of William and Carolyn Burlingame, a loving sister to Deborah & Gregory Strich, and Gail & Gary Halter. A devoted mother to Kelly & Norman Lumbra, David & Wendy Martel, Shawn & Jessica Martel, Steven & Courtney Martel, Phil and Cheryl Welch. She was a proud grandmother of fifteen, and a cherished great-grandmother of many.

Patricia had a spirit that lit up every room-whether it was her love of bingo, the excitement of the casino, or her competitive pitch league games. But her greatest joy was always her children and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Calling hours: Friday, March 14, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Gagnon & Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT. Church service: Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, Putnam, CT. Burial at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT.

A reception will follow, where friends and family can gather, share memories, and celebrate Patricia's life.
