

Obituary of Frederick M. White, Sr.
Frederick M White Sr. 90, of Dayville CT and formerly of Brooklyn, CT died on March 29, 2025, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dayville. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy A (Aurilio), she passed on April 23, 2022. Fred was born in Millbury, MA. on March 18, 1935, the son of the late Furnie and Edith (Trainor) White.
Fred served in the United States Army and was honorable discharge. After his Military Service he worked several years at Glass Container in Dayville, American Standard in Plainfield and Schilberg Integrated Metals in Willimantic before retiring in 1997. In his years of retirement, he enjoyed their home of 60 years in Brooklyn, spending time with his wife Nancy, golf, gardening, working in his yard, traveling and enjoying family and friends.
He leaves his son Frederick M. White, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Oakdale, CT, beloved grandchildren, David White (Stephanie) of Vernon, CT, Kylie White (Chris) of Brooklyn, CT, Melissa Seidel (Tyler) of Salem, CT. One of the great joys of his later life was welcoming his four great grandchildren, Victoria Palin and Sophia White of Vernon, CT, Piper and Griffin Shea of Brooklyn, CT. Sister-in-law's Edith Aurilio Lacey of Wallingford, CT and Alice Cobb Aurilio of Swansboro, NC. Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by ten siblings and two half-brothers.
A private service was held at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, burial followed in South Cemetery, Brooklyn, CT. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Westview Nursing Care and Rehabilitation, PO Box 428, Dayville, CT 06241.
