Obituary of Kathleen Gilman-Alexander

Kathleen Gilman-Alexander, 64, passed away suddenly due to heart failure on May 7, 2025 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. She was born August 25, 1960 in Portland, CT daughter of the late Norman Irving and Mary Rose (Nanfito) Gilman.

She was a fun loving artist who loved to go dancing and camping. Kathleen was involved in the Christian Community and taught Sunday School and sang in the Choir. She worked in Healthcare, Food Service and taught basic needs to people with special needs. She worked at Thornfield Hall, Sealy Brown, Westcott-Wilcox and for the Arc of Quinebaug Valley.

She leaves her daughters Kristan Manning of Plainfield, CT and Bethany Laws of Plainfield, CT; her grandchildren Gabriel, Vincent, Victoria, Lyneah and Mackenzie. She was predeceased by her son James Alexander in 2004 and her brothers Norman, Ken and Alan.
