Obituary of Yolande Lazarou

Yolande Lazarou,90 was born Yolande Nadeau on June 29, 1934, she passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025. She was one of six daughters born to Leo and Rose Nadeau. 

She was married to her late husband James Lazarou on Feb 9, 1957. Yolande loved spending time with her family and hosted all the holiday meals. She enjoyed classical music, history and bowling. She is survived by her sister Lucy Smith; five children Diana Lee, Maria Bessette, Lisa Sumner, Sandra Lazarou, John Lazarou; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. We all look forward to seeing her again in our Lord’s kingdom. A Mass of Christian Burial will Monday, June 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT, burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT.
