Obituary of Jeffrey Scott Chase

Jeffrey Scott Chase, 57 of Danielson, CT passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2025 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Griswold) Chase. They were married at her parent’s home in East Killingly, CT on September 5, 2009 by Mervin Whipple. Jeffrey was born on May 10, 1968 in Putnam, CT.

Jeffrey was an outdoorsman, with a passion for bass fishing, hunting and golfing. He enjoyed his quality time with his friends and family. Jeffrey was a hard-working guy who could build anything with his crafty nature. He was a true New England Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the UFC. Jeffery was an Operating Engineer with local 478.

He leaves his wife Susan Chase of Danielson, CT; his son Brent Chase of Putnam, CT; his sister Terri Gonyer Jones and her husband James of North Carolina; his step-son Scott Harman and his wife Melissa of Fredericksburg, VA; his five grandchildren Henry, Addalynn, Alexander, Easton and Lilly; his aunt and uncle Ben and Bunny Chase of Putnam, CT.
