Obituary of Viviane D. Murray

Viviane D. (Levesque) Murray 92, of Woodstock died Friday August 15, 2025 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Murray, Sr., he died in 2007. She was born November 16, 1932 daughter of the late Mitchell and Lumina (Breault) Levesque.  

She worked at Wellington Curtain in Putnam then raised her family and after her children were grown, she went back to work at Crabtree and Evelyn in Woodstock until her retirement. She loved crocheting and spending time with her best friends Jackie and Puttsie. She loved her children very much and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. 

She is survived by her son Robert H. Murray, Jr., and his companion Annmarie Marcoux of Woodstock daughter Kathleen Ward and her husband Allen, daughter in law Wanda Murray, grandchildren Patrick, Mallery, Page, Michelle, Kimberly Alan, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Edward J. Murray, and all her siblings Lorraine Menzone, Germaine Mountford, Pauline Lorange, Paul Levesque, Normon Levesque and Raymond Levesque. 

A calling hour will be Friday, August 22, 2025 at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam from 9:30 to 10:30 am with a Funeral service at 10:30 burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Putnam.
