Obituary of Waltrude Foisey-Boutin

Waltrude (Dupre) Foisey-Boutin, 98 originally of Woodstock, CT passed away September 15, 2025 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam, CT. She was born on December 1, 1926 in Woodstock the daughter of the late Aldege and Bella (Giard) Dupre. She was the wife of the late Carl Leo (Fuzzy) Foisey followed by the late Emil Boutin.

She worked at Day Kimball Hospital for 25 years. First as a Nurses’ Aid and then as a switchboard operator and nightly patient Admittance Registrar on third shift.  Waltrude enjoyed her soap operas, reading, a big crafter, loving knitting and crochet. She continued her tie with DKH by knitting and crocheting sweaters and hats that she donated to the nursery.

She leaves her children Debra Spinelli and her husband Gary of Thompson, Richard Foisey and his wife Linda of Woodstock, Katherine Foisey of Pomfret, Ronald Foisey and Deb Smutnick of Brooklyn, David Foisey and his wife Penny of Pomfret, Cynthia Anderson and her husband Douglas of Eastford, Mark Foisey and his wife Lori of Pomfret, Russell Foisey, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Gary Foisey.
