Karen Rosemarie Toni ( Kirby), 61, passed away peacefully on January 26 2026 , in Dayville, Connecticut surrounded by her family. Born on November 23, 1964, in Putnam, Connecticut, she lived a life rooted in love, family, and faith.
Karen was the beloved wife of Anselmo Toni (Dayville ct) and a devoted mother to Nia Toni & Ramon Martinez (Worcester ma) and Ashley & Marc LeBeau (Dayville ct). She took immense joy in being a Nonni to Isabella, Aerriel, Anselmo, Gabriella, Mayson, and Ramon. She leaves behind several nieces nephews, cousins and uncles. Her family was the heart of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her father James Kirby, mother Alice Haslacker, and brother James (Jimmy) Kirby. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Karen was a member of Saint James Church. Her spirituality guided her through life’s joys and challenges and provided comfort to those around her.
Karen found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her husband and creating lasting memories with her grandchildren were among her greatest joys. She had a passion for baking cakes that brought smiles to many faces and took pride in tending to her garden with care and love.
