Callie A. Hopkins, 44 of Plainfield passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home. She was born in Putnam on November 18, 1981 to Alice (Marcy) Hopkins and the late Douglas Hopkins.
Callie was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter Peyton. She had an affection for butterflies and surrounded her self with them as much as she could. She had a way with numbers, enjoyed music and singing. Callie was known for her infectious laugh and overall joyful spirit. She was always kind and uplifting to those around her and put others before herself.
She leaves her mother Alice Hopkins of Plainfield, her daughter Peyton Field (17) of Plainfield and Peyton’s father Shane Field of Plainfield, siblings Kim White and her husband Steven of North Carolina, Ginger Malley of Pomfret, CT, Sandy Sherburne and her husband John of Vermont, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life will be February 21, 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Tracy House, 542 Hampton Road, Pomfret Ctr., CT.
