Obituary of Roman B. Giebultowski

Roman B. Giebultowski, 71, of Brooklyn, CT passed away on March 16, 2026 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. He was born May 4, 1954 in Zakopane, Poland, son of the late Matthew and Helena (Szufnara) Giebultowski.

Roman moved to the United States of America in 1960. He married his beloved wife Donna (Beausoleil) Giebultowski in 1979 and they settled in Brooklyn, CT with their children. Roman devoted his life to caring for his entire family. His love extended beyond the traditional and included so many that he met along the way. Roman wanted to take care of everyone, whether they were related or chosen. Those who knew him felt his everlasting warmth and kindness.

He leaves his wife Donna Giebultowski; his daughters Tiana Pavlidis and her husband John, Elizabeth Bullock and her husband Jerard; his grandchildren Sophia Pavlidis, Julia Pavlidis, Wyatt Bullock and Myles Bullock. He was predeceased by his parents and eldest daughter, Krystyna Giebultowski.

A Calling Hour will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
