Obituary of Naomi Loretta Regis

Naomi Loretta Regis, 90, of Brooklyn, CT, died Monday, June 8, 2026 at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn, CT. Born on May 26, 1936 in Putnam, CT, daughter of the late Edeo Sr, and Irene (Emond) Clark. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Regis, he died in 2022. 

Naomi was the secretary for her husband’s business Regis Tree Experts and Regis Corp. She also had a kindness for animals. Naomi attended St. James mass each week with her husband for many years. She loved animals and cheering for the New England Patriots and UConn women's basketball team. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and baking, gardening, puzzles, arts and crafts, taking photos and creating albums, and was in a ladies bowling league years ago. She was also a pro at cleaning and wrapping presents.

She leaves her children Robin Either, Rhonda Cathcart and Rick Regis and his fiancée Leslie; her grandchildren Brandon Ethier, Kaitlyn Regis and Taylor Regis; siblings Gerald Clark, James Clark, Sr. and his wife Daryle; her great grandchildren Aisha Desaulnier, Emma Ethier and Alyse Lazor and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Dwain Clark, Sr., Edeo Clark, Jr., Carol Regis and granddaughter Sarah Beth Lussier.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will be private in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT. Share a memory at Gagnonandcostellofh.com
