Putnam-Mary A. Nugent, 72, Farrows Street, Putnam, died Monday, November 2, 2009 at home. She was born February 16, 1937 in Ware, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Marion) Collins. She has made her home in Putnam for the last 17 years, formerly of the Clinton - Lancaster area. She worked as a rehabilitation aide and retired after 15 years from the Southern Worcester County Rehab Center. Mary was an avid doll collector and loved to cook for her family and friends. She leaves her children: Walter Knorr of Milford, MA; Joseph Knorr of CT; Elliott Knorr of Putnam with whom she made her home; Bonnie Knorr of PA, brother, Richard Collins and his wife Judith of Lancaster, MA nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Burial at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, MA.
