Obituary of Armand Lambert

Armand Lambert, 85, of Danielson, CT, died Friday November 13, 2009 in Worcester, MA. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Perreault) Lambert, they were married in 1946, she died in 2006. He was born August 2, 1924 in New Bedford, MA, son of the late Telesphore and Parmelia (Laferriere) Lambert. Armand was employed at LA Rosa & Sons for 24 years as a shipping supervisor. He also worked at Pervel, Danielson Federal Savings Bank and for over twenty years he worked at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home in Danielson. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Army with Company "D" 137th Infantry. He was honorably discharged in 1945. A life member and past commander of the Danielson VFW No.21. Armand was an avid coin collector; he enjoyed cookouts and the annual family Hay Rides. He had a great sense of humor and always had a story to tell. He leaves his siblings: Ovila Lambert of Danielson; Henry Lambert of Chicopee, MA; Eva Garrity of Holiday, FL; several nieces, Nephews, his God Children: Beatrice Graham of Chicopee, MA; Timothy Albee of Brooklyn; Aaron Sherman of Danielson. He was predeceased by his siblings: Yvonne Gaudreau- Lambert; Alphonse Lambert; Antoinette Lemay; Paul Lambert; Alice Zacharie The funeral will be at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in ST James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson. Calling Hours Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson.
