Obituary of Danny T. Stilu

Danny T. Stilu, 59, of Marcy Lane, North Grosvenordale, CT formerly of Putnam, died Tuesday at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a long illness. He was born March 31, 1951 in Putnam, son of the later Demitri and Myrtle (Chickering) Stilu. He had made his home in Putnam most of his life. Danny was an avid NASCAR fan. He had work as an automobile mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and in his youth Danny raced Go-Karts and won several races at the Tri-State Kart Club in Pomfret. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He leaves his sisters: Sheila Gough and her husband Roland of Woodstock; Tami LaBelle and her husband Arthur of North Grosvenordale; nephews: Keith Herrick, James LaBelle, and a niece Angela LaBelle. Predeceased by a nephew Tige Herrick. Funeral Services are private. No calling Hours. Danny lived large and had a great love for life. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
