Obituary of Dennis J. Willard, Jr.

Dennis J. Willard, Jr. 36, of Kenneth Drive, Dayville, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at home after a year long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Crystal (Courtemanche) Willard. He was born September 27, 1973 in Putnam, CT, son of Dennis Willard and Paula Lambert. Dennis was a Truck Driver and enjoyed his work, he had also worked for Quikrete. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, helping others, and spending time with his children and family members. In addition to his wife Crystal he leaves, a son Tyler Willard of Dayville, a daughter Breonna Willard of Dayville, a step-daughter Karissah Broughton, his father Dennis Willard, his mother Paula Lambert and Sonny Tarr who was a father to him, his grandparents Paul and Jacqueline Lambert, Red and Theresa Tatro, his sisters Candace Hoffman of Dayville and Stephanie Willard of Danielson, also many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Calling Hour will be Saturday September 4, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
