Obituary of Beatrice Bea LeQuere

Beatrice "Bea" LeQuere passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the of age 83, at her home in Norwich, with her loving family by her side. She was born April 4, 1927 in Danielson, daughter of the late Emile and Marie-Anne (Thibeault) Hubert. On May 5, 1945 she married the love of her life, her French sailor, Pierre LeQuere. He survives her. During their 65 years of marriage they traveled to France several times and retired to Florida where they built their dream house. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Joyce Page and her husband Ralph of Norwich; her two sons, Jean-Pierre (John) LeQuere and his wife, Candy of Higganum and Marc LeQuere and his wife, Maura, of Port St. Lucie, Florida. She was the proud grandmother and great grandmother of Lauri-Anne Kennison, Robin Page Kelly, Rebecca Kowalski, Ryan Brenek, Olivia Kelly, and Sofia Kelly. She was predeceased by her great grandson, Page Kelly. She is also survived by her siblings Joseph (Buck) Hubert, Lucille Laflamme and William (Billy) Hubert. She was predeceased by her sister, Rita Chenard. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Bea never met a stranger, was generous and compassionate and therefore leaves many life-long friends. A heart-felt thank you to Dr. Galand and to Amy and Judy, from Hospice, for their loving and tender care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Beatrice's Mass of Christian burial on Thursday December 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT, with burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice Southeastern Connecticut, 227 Dunham Street, Norwich, CT 06360.
