Obituary of Marlene Adams

Marlene M. Adams, 86 died Friday, July 14, 2023 at UMASS Hospital in Worcester, she was born May 28, 1937 in Danielson, CT, daughter of Eugene and Mary Ange (Chenail) Morin. She grew up in Danielson and attended St. James School and graduated from Killingly High School. She worked at Southern New England Telephone for many years after graduating high school. She later worked for Michael’s Supermarkets and Big Y in Plainfield, retiring in 2004. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, crocheting and knitting. She was an avid scrabble player, and enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles. She followed many sports teams, especially the Lady Huskies. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, who was the love of her life.  She was a member of the Plainfield Senior Center and enjoyed traveling with them. Survivors include her grandson Micah Lee Adams and one niece and one nephew.  She was predeceased by her parents, her son, David M. Adams, and her brothers Earl E. Morin, and Robert G. Morin.
