Lillian H Brousseau, 92, of Rhode Island Line Road, Putnam, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Haven Health in Danielson after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born August 6, 1916 in Whitinsville, MA daughter of Adelard and Marie (Chasseau) Brousseau. She had worked for Belding Hemingway, Hale Manufacturing and as a Home Health Aid for Northeast Homemakers. Miss Brousseau made her home in Putnam most of her life and was a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation. She was a member of the Putnam VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Lillian loved gardening and working around her home. She leaves several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her siblings: Yvonne Bonneville; Rose Basley; Gertrude Brouchu; Marion LaChance; Bertha Goulet; and Adelard Brousseau. Funeral will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 10:30 AM from the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Calling Hours are Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial in St Mary Cemetery, Putnam.
