Obituary of Anita Y. Espinosa
Brooklyn- Anita Yvette Espinosa, 90, died February 3, 2009 of congestive heart failure at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn where she has made her home for the past four years. She was born April 24, 1918 in Putnam, daughter of the late Emil and Eugenia (Grenier) Paquette.
She worked at Uncas Finishing, during the war years she worked at Pratt and Whitney and later at Wellington Curtain. She was predeceased by her first husband, Leon Romeo Benoit in 1942 and her second husband Adrian Gaetano Espinosa in 2001.
She leaves her son, Roland P. and his wife Janice R. Benoit of FL and CT, a granddaughter, Denise S. Roireau and her husband Donat, two great grandchildren, Kieffer and Sierra Roireau, her special niece Barbara Nooren and a very good friend, Tom Urda, several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:30 AM, at ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Donations may be made in her memory to the Media Center, ST Mary's School, 23 Marshall Street, Putnam. Arrangements by Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
