To My Dougie, Though we didn't have a lot of time together, I will treasure it always. I thank you for being kind to Coleman and passing on to him just a small amount of your vast knowledge. He misses you dearly and loved you lots.
To Kelli & Joe, he was proud of the BOTH of you. He loved you both very much. You were his world.

To Kelli and Joe, I am so saddened to hear of your loss. My greatest memory of your parents was the day they agreed to be godparents for my son. Please know that I think of both of you often, and I miss your mom's friendship every day. Always know that your parents loved you both so very much, and your dad put up an incredible fight to be able to stay with you longer. My prayers to both of you, and hopefully it will help your minds to rest knowing he will not be in pain any longer. God has taken an angel to be with an angel. Love to both of you, Sue Dufur

How can one express such a great loss from a great leader. Your devotion and volunteerism to your community and fire department are unsurpassed. Almost 40 years of mentoring, fixing and caring add up to more hours than one can print on this page. You had nothing but great advise and kind words of support for me that I will never forget. God love you. You will be sadly missed. Hogan

Jane Burlingame posted a condolence
One of my most cherished memories of you is seeing you arrive for your chemotherapy infusion with tool bag in hand to repair our uneven tables. Always fixing things, always helping someone, always giving of yourself. You gave us many things, fresh corn, garlic, maple syrup, roadside flowers but more than that, you gave us an example of how to live with cancer. I do not think of heaven as needing a lot of repairs but I can't picture your energetic and generous spirit idle. God must have plans for you. I am so thankful that I knew you. Jane
