Obituary of Linda Babbitt

Linda Babbitt, 56, of Quinebaug, CT died July 3, 2009 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of John Dunn and Dorothy (Fries) Lee. She had made her home in Quinebaug for the last five years; most of her life in Putnam. She attended the New Hope Church in Putnam. She worked in real estate. She will be remembered as a very generous person and had great love for her grandchildren. She leaves a daughter: Laura Babbitt of Upton, MA; grandchildren: Kylie, Amber, Holli. Siblings: Sharon Palcic of Pomfret Center; Patricia McFarland of Dayville; Cheryl Dunn of Las Vegas; Richard Dunn of Pomfret; William Dunn of RI; Thomas Dunn of Danielson; Christopher Dunn of Danielson; Dennis Dunn of Canada; John Dunn of Fort Meyer, FL. She was predeceased by brothers Bobbie and Kevin. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 5:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
