Angeline Derosier, 89, of Kenwood Drive, New Britain, CT, formerly of Woodside Street in Putnam, died Monday, August 31, 2001 at the Jerome Home in New Britain, CT. She was the wife of the late, George Derosier, he died in 2007. She was born October 13, 1919 in Longsdale, RI, daughter of the late Dominic and Pasqualina Varavallo. She lived in Putnam all of her life until moving to New Britain two years ago. She was vice-president of the Local Union at Putnam Woolen Mill, where she worked with former Governor Dempsey, and also worked at the A.O. in Putnam. She and George traveled extensively throughout Europe and North Africa. George even learned to dance so they could enjoy dancing. She leaves her daughter: Patricia Jaworski Sgueglia and her husband Robert of New Britain, several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in the Hartford area. She was predeceased by her husband George February 23, 2007 and her first husband Nicholas A. Jaworski in 1967. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 9:30 AM from the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT.
