Obituary of Edward C. Noren

Edward C. Noren 76 (unexpectedly) of Woodstock took his journey to heaven on September 10, 2009. A veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion Post #111, Woodstock. He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years Barbara T. Noren, four sons: Bruce Noren; Carl Noren and his wife Patricia; Glenn Noren and his wife Dineen; Daniel Noren and his wife Robyn; five grandchildren Victoria and her husband Steve Despres; Carolyn Noren; Janel Noren; Jeffrey Noren and his wife Sarah; and Charles Edward Noren, one great grandchild: Natalie Despres, his sister Beverly Stehlik, several nieces and a nephew. A graveside service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the Elmvale Cemetery, Roseland Park Road, Woodstock, followed by Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
