I have always had Deb and her family in my thoughts throughout my life wishing for things that were out of our control. I ride (my horses) in the Susan G. Koman "Ride For The Cure" each year @ Tyrone Farm and have been a "Platinum Rider" and faithfully a "Gold" Rider.” Raising Money" for the cure. I will be riding in memory of "Deb" this year. It is a "Great" Powerful Event and it is "Right Here" in Pomfret each year. Come by and see the most powerful woman whom are fighters of/for/against "Breast Cancer" including myself & my daughter. "The ride is in October" each year. A good time to make that gift in memory of "Deb" and her fight. I will be there and I want to express my sincere and deepest sympathy to Tom, and Deb's family during this time of sadness, there is sadness in my heart as well wishing things were different and I had gotten to know her better and becoming closer as I know we both wanted to. We knew each others voice & thoughts!!!!! in our hearts. She was my sister!

Everyone who knew Deb knew she was one of a kind. She was a co-worker and friend for 13 years and will be missed. I will cherish the time we spent together, including our annual picnic - she was always a joy to be around. Rest in Peace Deb. We all love you!

I met Deb back in October of 2004 when I came to work at CIC. Her and I sat together and she took me right under her wing. Over the years we developed a Mother/Daughter relationship and she will be greatly missed by so many. She was a wonderful woman, always smiling, very kind, and great 2nd Mother to me. I have so many fond memories over the years that I will hold in my heart. We enjoyed laughs, tears, hugs, stories, and many Snicker bars together for lunch. I never imagined I would meet someone like her- I am forever greatful for the friendship I had with her. Even as sick as she was this summer she spent an entire day making a wonderful dinner/dessert for Brandon and I and then spent the rest of the night playing Go Fish with Brandon. She was an amazing person!! Mama Deb- I miss you so much, RIP... I love you! *** Tom, Kim, Robbie, Angela, Mr & Mrs. Wetherbee- I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was in Deb's unit at CIC. She always had a kind word and smile for everyone. The passing of Deb is truly a loss for everyone as I know that I am a better person having known her, but especially for her family.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult period.
