Obituary of Alphonse J. Bolduc

Brooklyn - Alphonse J. Bolduc, 93, of Brooklyn, passed away October 15, 2009 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He was born August 3, 1916 in Pawtucket, RI, the twenty second child of Joseph and Pamelia Bolduc. He leaves his wife Margery D. Thompson Bolduc, whom he married January 3, 1935 at St. James Church, this coming January they would have celebrated 75 years of marriage; Shirley Davis of Brooklyn; Barbara Poitras of Danielson; Nancy DelPesco of FL; and Richard V. Bolduc of AR, eighteen grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by all of his brothers and sisters. He lived and worked in the Danielson area for most of his life and in Central Village in his later years. He served in the National Guard during his early married years, worked for twenty years at William Prym, Inc., and also Danco. He helped run Crosby's Flowers with his wife for fifteen years, started a business with his friend Victor Basley, making pallets for businesses in the area, after which he retired. A Graveside Service will be 11:00 am October 27, 2009 (Tuesday) at Westfield Cemetery, North Street, Danielson, arrangements by Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson.
