It is good to be able to say that you only have pleasant memories of a person; Fabienne was such a person. Many will feel pain over the loss of her fiscal presence, in time that pain will be replaced with the knowledge that she is still with us; this presence that cannot be taken away. I feel sure that our Father will welcome her presence with her smile and pleasant disposition. Elaine, know that I am here for you; your pain is mine. When you get to a point that you can feel the presence of your mother the pain will be gone, as will mine. Hurry home.
Love,
Charlie

I'll always remember Fabienne. I miss her already even though I only met her a couple of times when she visited Elaine. She was a ray of sunshine in people's lives.

Jane & family,
I was stunned to learn of your Mom's death. I was away on vacation and am just now catching up on things. I'm very happy that I got to see her a couple of months ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Elaine and Bob,
I was so sad to hear this news. I'm glad I got to meet your Mom on her visits to NC. I remember her as a smiling good-sport at the contra dances and parties.
Thinking of you and your family.

I always thought it would be fun to introduce Elaine's Mom to mine . . . they're a lot alike and both of French background... and likely related somewhere along the through the Bouchers. I remember Fay with a great twinkle in her eye and a ready smile for all. She seemed to enjoy our contra dance crowd whenever she came to visit . . . our thoughts are with Elaine and Bob.

I feel honored to be part of Fay's family. She was so loving to me and I always will remember the way she would reach up with both hands to hold my cheeks when she would kiss me. Fay was a beautiful person and I will miss her very much.
