In 1975,when I was 22 my parents and I went to a wedding of some friends in New York. I had not been feeling well on the way down, and was really sick on the way home a day or two later.
My Dad stopped on the way home from New York to call Dr. "Robbie" to see if he could see me. A couple hours later, Dr. Robinson met us at his office in Danielson, waiting for us to get there on our way home. He gave me some medicine to get started,
(I had severe strept throat infection) He had come from working in his garden dirty jeans and all! That is something one very seldom sees today....

What a blessing this man was to all the lives he touched, whether as a physician, a friend, a family member, a mentor or just as a community member. He went above and beyond in his service to us all. I believe that it is a rare person who leaves this world a better place for having been here - Robbie, most certainly, is such a person. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and the children in our community - we all have suffered a great loss.

my mother, the late Fay Logee was a life long friend of Dr. Robbie and Marge. He was our doctor and our family friend for as long as I can remember.
He could always bring a smile to my mothers face as they would chat at our family florist business as he bought his favorite flowers for Marge. Fay thought the world of Robbie and I cherish those fond memories.God be with our very good friend.

Dr. Robinson was not just a physician. He was a friend and my employer at his office in Danielson for 6 years. He meant everything to his patients. He truly lived and worked by his oath. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Every childhood has memorable figures of friends and family in them. For me Dr. Robbie was both. I don't think your supposed to have memories at such a young age but can remember being put in the little scale and weighed at his office. The days of school physical and shots with no apprehension. Waiting to hear those big shoes come down the hall, and the after hours visit to stich me up. I was blessed to have seen and spoken to Dr. Robbie this past July. He looked at my like he always had and gave me some advise as he always felt necessary to do. God Bless you Dr. Robbie, and thank you.

Where to start in describing Robbie? Adjedtives that come to mind include dedicated, selfless, consumate professional, concerned/compassionate,self-reliant, a true friend. I think of the time when he stayed up all night to comfort our mutual friend Jane when wetragically & suddenly lost her husband Norm. I remember the time when Robbie was so very congratulatory and gracious to me upon my Civic Achievement Award for Killingly when my contributions to out town ann area paled in comparison to his so much that I was embarassed to be the recipient of the same award. The time when I was grousing about the chore of splitting a large amount of wood and Robbie immediately offered to loan me his log splitter. When I returned it with a repair to a long-broken poart, he seemed surprised and very thankful that I had done so. I merely pointed out to him that this is what he would have done! He of course offered that I "could borrow the splitter any time", which of course I proceeded to do on multiple occassions! You could never out-do Robbie in generous acts. We would have long discussions about civil war history which were always fascinating and informative. Robbie & Marjorie leave a fine legacy in you, his family, and his many friends. We will all sorely miss a dear friend and colleague.

My sympathies to the Robinson family. Dr. Robbie was a doctor like no other. Not only did he care for me and my five siblings, but when our father was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer at age 61, it was Dr. Robbie who made numerous house calls and brought our dad a special beer when he awoke from a coma at DKH. I think that that beer helped our father live six more weeks which was such a blessing. Our whole family was so grateful to Dr. Robbie for his compassion and care during that difficult time. He will be missed.
Blessings,
Catherine Mason Reynolds

This great man will sorely be missed. He delivered and took care of practically every family member I had, including my own children. I will never forget taking my oldest to see him for chest pain, Dr. Robbie told us he was going through puberty and told my son, "Always remember, no glove no love." I cracked up. He was always witty like that, and told you straight up what he thought. Gone, but will never be forgotten.

I want to extend my heart felt sympathies to the family. Robbie was my doctor for decades - and not only for physical problems. For a period of a couple years after I went through a divorce I saw Robbie not as much for advice as for having a sounding board. And I believe those consults made all the difference in my life. My Aunt Vi was his receptionist for years, and often times I'd get a quick family update from her during my visits. He continue to be my primary care physician even after I moved to Mansfield. I eventually hads to d=face the reality that when I was sick it was just too long a ride to Danielson.
Again, my deepest condolences to you.

I only knew Dr Robinson briefly for 4 years as I work at DKH, but he was a very interesting man and always knew what he wanted. We will all miss him very much. He always came in with a smile and a laugh. A generally wonderful person!
