Obituary of Robert P. Steen
Robert P. Steen of Bebbington Road, Ashford CT, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 4, 1939, the son of the late William and Irene (Massey) Steen and the beloved husband of Patricia (Donlin Plasse) Steen.
Bob retired from the State of CT Department of Corrections and from the Judicial Marshals. He enjoyed NASCAR racing (Tony Stewart), Philadelphia Eagles football, Boston Red Sox and the UCONN Men and Women's Basketball. Besides his wife Pat he leaves behind his daughter Jennifer (Thomas) Libby, his grandson Christopher John Peck whom he loved to spend time with, his daughters Lisa (Manfred) Koehl of Brooklyn, Robyn (Frank) Butash and granddaughter Rachael Morgan Butash of Danielson, his sister Joan (Arthur) Derosier and their family, brother Donald Steen and his family, his brother-in-law Robert Donlin and his family, he also leaves some special friends the Carter family of Putnam and the crew of the Ashford Dunkin Donuts. He was predeceased by his son Christopher John Plasse.
