Mom, you would be proud of me today.I was very good. Just like I told you I could be. I am so glad we talked about this. It helped me alot. I am going to miss you and your phone calls. At less you are in alot better place. I will be thinking of you everyday and how much happier you are. Mike gave you that sliver dollar to get you started up in heaven. Just keep on winning. Tammy and Robin said every time we eat butter milk and potatoes or beet soup you will be with us. I love you and will miss you. It's just not going to be the same. Always thinking of you

I remember the clam bake, family cookouts, playing croquet, walking down to the creek, and finding golf balls by the golf course. When I was younger I would brag to all of my friends about how cool my grandma was because she kept a shotgun by her back door!
I'm especially grateful to have spent so much time with her her last few years of life. Too often we can forget where we came from.
Rest in peace grandma. I know you're looking down on us with your new and improved vision.
We will miss you.

Irene was 13 yrs. older than me, I rember all the picnics at her home, with the families. The ball games. She & Mom were at my wedding. Iworked with her at the Glass Comp. Irene was a very talented person, she could do almost anything she put her mind to. A very crafty person. She loved her home& yard, And all of her girls. She will be remembered by me always.

Tomato sandwich on black bread. My first was at Mrs. Polanski's home on South St
while visiting Mary Ann. . Visiting Traverse City and visiting her in her lovely apartment. She enjoyed sitting on the porch having her afternoon coffee in warm weather. Her grandchildren and great grands brought joy to her life. As did her time at the Casino!!!

I will always remember her sitting on the back porch when I get home from work and she would tell me to hurry up and change so I could join her on the porch and we would talk and talk to supper time or till dark. Also at christmas time she would ask me to come over and sit in the dark with just the lights of her tree and christmas village on. We would talk till bed time. There are so many more memories we had. I will never forget her. Rest in peace my friend. With love to her family.
