Obituary of Jerald W. Krise, Sr.

Jerald W. Krise Sr., 64, of 3686 Black Brant Dr., Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 10, 2004, after a seven-month courageous battle with cancer. Jerald was raised in Springville, NY, and retired from Agway, Inc., after a 33-year career. He was born January 24, 1940 in Springville, NY, son of Webster and Helen (holzbauer) Krise. He was a Navy veteran and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Joan Baer; a daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Mitchell; a son, Jerald W. (Gerri Lynn) Krise Jr., all of Baldwinsville; a sister, Chloe (Robert) Farner of Springville; a brother, Webster (Dorothy) Krise Jr. of Tipp City, Ohio; four precious grandchildren: Sarah and Stephen Mitchell and Ryan and Morgan Krise. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 14, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2840 Cold Springs Rd., Baldwinsville. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rte. 31, Baldwinsville.
