Obituary of Charles B. Reynolds
Charles B. Reynolds , 85 of Danielson, CT. Died Monday February 22, 2010 at the Pierce Home in Brooklyn, he was the beloved husband of Mary A. (Lacey) Reynolds. Born in Killingly on Jan. 4, 1925. Son of George B. and Vera (Morse) Reynolds. He was a graduate of Killingly High School. He joined the U. S. Navy and served on PT Boats during WWII . Charles married Mary Agnes Lacey in 1942 and they raised 5 children. Charles worked for Jacobs Rubber Co. for most of his adult life, retiring as Finishing Manager in 1987. His family heritages included Descendants of Jamestowne, Virginia; Mayflower of Plymouth, Massachusetts; Pilgrim Hopkins Heritage Society San Diego, CA; Sons of the American Revolution; Civil War Descendants; Sons of the Spanish War. Charles is survived by Mrs. Brenda Russell and her husband Pat of Danielson, Mr. Brian Reynolds and his wife Carol of Danielson, Mr. Douglas Reynolds and his wife Judy of Danielson, and Mrs. Debbie Kandolin and her husband Randy of Woodstock, thirteen grand children and 25 great grand children. He was predeceased by his wife Mary, his sister Mrs. Dorothy Codding, a son Gordon Reynolds; a grandson Michael Soucy, and a great grandson Riley Soucy. Calling hours Monday March 1, 2010 from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson with a Prayer Service at 2:00 PM, burial will follow with Military Honors in Holy Cross Cemetery.
