Deb, Scott & Ian,
My sincere condolences to all of you and extended family. I have known Elle many years, as a customer buying glass, and we became friends... that great smile of his... always an encouraging word... you were ALL so special to him, his pride and joy.
Elle is at peace now, the suffering over, God has called him home to watch over all of us from heaven... how great that is, for Elle is with us in "Sprit" each and every day.
May your memories give you the strength to go on... until we all meet again with our Maker.
Peace to all of you. God bless,
Elaine Fornari

To Elle's family, especially Debbie, please accept my sincere condolences from France. I was taken much aback by the news of Elle's passing.
Personally, Elle's sly wit and good nature is what I will miss most. His presence in the Lodge was one of the reasons I was more active over the years with the Masons in Woodstock than I was in the Lodge I was raised in in Southbridge.
Elle was truly a good man and lived up to the high moral standards and principles embodied in Masonry. He knew what public service meant and how necessary such service is to hold community together often in the ugly face of unenlightened self-service, meaness, and hypocrasy.
Yours sadly,
Jay

My memory of Eli was his love for everyone. I remember so often Eli stopping by the Ideal Plastics office to talk to Peter and when not there he would immediately come to my office, walk right in, sit and start talking to me. I was his friend by default because of his great love for one of his best friends, Peter. Eli never left my office that I was not the richer for him doing so. There are only a hand full of people that I have been blessed to have come into my life that I can say the world is a better place because of them being in it. Eli was one of those people.
One of my most pleasant memories was having the pleasure of being seated with Deborah and Eli at Brent Kahuda's wedding. I spent most of the evening conversing with Eli. What a great wedding and night in Annapolis. I will always be thankful and consider my self lucky for having the privilege of knowing Eli. A privilege he created through his unconditional love for others. Thank you so much Eli for just being you.
God speed

Elle was a good man. He encouraged me to coach a Tball team way back when Woodstock was just beginning Tball. He always had time for you and even went out of his way to greet you. He was definitely one of Woodstock's finest. I was sorry to learn of his passing but hope he is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

To the Deb, Scott and Ian, there are no words right now to ease the pain that you are all feeling. As a graduate of Woodstock Academy I remember the days of watching Elle and Deb walking across campus holding hands, so young and so in love. Destined to be together, you have so many wonderful memories , hang onto them until the day that you are together again. Lynn and Bob Frink Jr.

It is impossible to relate a
life-time of memories in a few paragraphs in tribute to a person that you have loved and experienced life with.
Baseball games after school, washing dishes and flipping burgers at Bosworth/MayGold, and later making the best ice cream in the world with Elle.
He was a leader, a motivator, and a friend.
We would sit for hours and talk about everything...Elle
enjoyed talking. And what a thrill
it was to welcome Elle into the family of Guardian Industries and the flat glass
industry. Man..Didn't we have fun in that sales office...It wasn't work, it was having fun and getting paid!
My move to South Carolina, put some distance between us, but I was so happy to see him and visit briefly last summer
during one of my trying times.
There he was, battling his medical problems, and looking great, just like the Elle I knew from childhood.
Such a great and giving man, always giving to others.
As you celebrate his life on saturday, realize that I will be doing the same...from a distance.
Deb, Scott & Ian...my deepest sympathy.

I met Elias many years ago. As our sales rep. from AFG he would stop in to my glass business a few times each year. He was very pleasant and I always enjoyed talking with him about business and current events. My brother Tom and I want to express our sadness at to be informed of his passing. We tried to keep informed with his struggle these last few years. We know he put up a great fight. Please accept our deepest condolences and know that Elias and his family will be mentioned in our prayers.

We in the Sales Dept. in Fall River vividly remember E-man being a man of great strength. On one occasion, we witnessed the destruction of a poor defensless glass table top just by Elle banging his fists on it. He told us he felt alot better as he walked the glass shards to the broken glass bin. I suppose this explains why we don't have glass tops in the office anymore. We had great fun over the years and we just loved to laugh at ourselves.

Although I did not know Elias well, I knew his family quite well. To his family he left behind my condolences. I myself have lost a parent at a very young age, all you can do is remember the special times you shared with them, keep them close to your heart, and consider the time that they had on this earth a blessing. Know that they are a peace now. Stay strong!
My thoughts are with you my friends.

I don't know what I can possibly say to adequately describe a man who I had known for almost 25 years. We worked hard together, we had common goals, common ideals, and a bond of common values. If everybody was as good a person as Elle, there wouldn't be any of the pointless animosity that plagues the world. I will miss you my Brother, and I will always strive to live up to your example.

I will always remember Elle's beaming smile, selfless good nature and positive energy put forth in helping others. In the early days of Israel Putnam Chapter of DeMolay, Elle, above all others was there chauffeuring, coaching and corralling our band of misfit young men into a respectable and competitive group of men we could all be proud of. In the far corners of Connecticut and New England, when no other advisors were available, I could always count on him. He never, ever let me down. As Sr. Deacon during my year as master of Putnam Lodge his wise counsel, support and reassurance were invaluable. I cherished the many hours spent in conversation long after the brothers had all gone home and we closed the lodge building together.
Elle, you did your job here so well that you finished early! Rest my brother! You will be sorely missed and your memory beloved!

He was really proud of it.Shop classes in" The Batcave".God Bless you Brother Elle, you left a great legacy that your family can be very proud of.
