i wish i had good memories with my father, but unfortunately i do not. i just wish he had grown up and been a part of my life. god knows i had given him more than enough chances to be someone to me. maybe he could have met his granddaughter before he passed away, or tried to make up the years he missed with me. my heart goes out to you aunt sheila.

Danny! We go back many years as I do with your whole family. Prayers to them and to you, my friend. You are a special person and have been to me since meeting you way back in 1973 (or so). Your heart was full of love and life. Say 'Hi' to Gary for me.

I am so sorry to hear that Danny has passed. I sure remember all the good times we all had at Damariscotta Lake. The fishing, swimming, skiing and the good times sitting and talking and playing cards. May you rest in peace, My cousin.

Danny always amazed me with his great sense of humor and outlook on life. Danny could always make me smile even on my worst days. He and I both loved Lynyrd Skynyrd, and would listen to "Freebird" and sing along with no shame in how god awful we sounded. He always told me stories about his "free spirited" and fun loving past. He always told me that if he had the chance he would have given me a run for my money back in the day. I loved the fact that he was so "inquisitive" and remembered ABSOLUTELY every detail that you told him.
I didn't know him very long, 5 years is only a brief moment in time, but the memories i have of him will always be in my heart. My thoughts, prayers, love, and hope are with you all........

Joe and I were saddened to hear that Danny had passed away. He was always full of life. I'm sure he had the best of times with my brother Roger Henries when he was alive and they will surely meet again.
God Bless!
