I miss spending Sunday afternoons with Carmen. She touched me deeply with her stories of her life before I met her and with the part I was fortunate enough to share with her. How ironic that I should learn about her death on an afternoon I would have been with her. I take comfort in knowing that she is at peace now. My wish for all of you is that time will help you heal and loving memories will keep her close and replace your tears with smiles.

Joe and Marguerite - I just got back from an extended trip to California and read this so sad news in the paper. Please accept my sincere sympathy and prayers. I went through this sad time with my dear wife in 2008 and can share your grief. Take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place now - all her earthly cares are behind her now.
I remember when we were teenagers and pushing the envelope on a daily basis, your mom was always a stern, steady force to be reckoned with. She always tried to keep you in line!
Again - my heartfelt sympathy in this time of sadness... - d
