Obituary of Alberta Mitchell

Alberta Mitchell October 3, 1923 – September 16, 2010 passed away peacefully at Regency Heights, Danielson, CT, her daughter by her side. She was born October 3, 1923 in Ivor, VA, daughter of the late Susie Ruth Hall. She did laundry work for fifty years working in Worcester, Ma, and local laundries in Putnam and Danielson. The unconditional love she had for her family will be sadly missed and never forgotten. She is survived by her son, Horance Martin Jr., of Putnam, Ct, Her daughter, Lillian V. Sipes and her husband Harrison of Woodstock, CT, grandsons, Raymond E. Gould, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Woodstock, CT, Joseph M. Gould and his wife Melissa of Webster, Ma. She also leaves 8 great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. A calling hour will be from 10:00 AM to the start of the service. Burial following in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam, CT.
