Obituary of Viola V. Tetreault
Viola V. Tetreault, 86, of Cleveland Street, Putnam, CT, died Thursday at the Matulaitis Nursing home in Putnam. Wife of the late Leonard A. Tetreault, they were married June 28, 1949 in Ballouville; he died August 11, 1999. She was born July 11, 1924 in Warren, RI, daughter of the late Israel and Matilda (Lavengne) Poitras. She was a communicant of ST Mary Church in Putnam and had made her home in Putnam for many years. She worked for several years, as a nurse's aide at Day Kimball Hospital and area nursing homes. She leaves her children: Dennis Tetreault and his wife Patricia of Lisbon; Robert Tetreault of Windsor Locks; Jayne Henn and her husband Ronald of Williamsburg, VA; Maryann Tetreault of Newport News, VA; her sister Lorraine Labeau of Sun City, AZ; five grand children, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister: Claire Correia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at ST Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, burial following in ST Joseph Cemetery Dayville. No Calling hours.
