Beloved wife of John M. Dauray, they were married, January 25, 1953. She was born April 19, 1931 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Charles A. Root, Jr., and Helen Rixford of Uxbridge, MA. Sybil attended Dana Hall and the Garland Schools in Boston. She was a member of the Daughters of The American Revolution for 50 years. She leaves her husband of 57 years John and three daughters; Diane Esposito of Florida, Deborah Newman of Oregon and Holly Dauray of Connecticut, two sisters; Nancy Bovenzi of Worcester, MA, Diana Hayden of Stony Creek, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Charles Dauray, a grandson Wesley Bernklow and a granddaughter Bethany Dauray. Funeral Services will be private, burial at a later date in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge, MA.
