Obituary of Clark D. Child

Pomfret- Clark D. Child, 62, of Tyrone Road, Pomfret died November 24, 2010 at home. Clark was born on January 20, 1948 in Hartford, CT. Son of the late James R. and Dorothy (Akerberg) Child. Clark worked as the head care taker at Tyrone Farm for twenty years; he was also a High Roller Dealer at Foxwoods Casino for ten years. Clark was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Pomfret for many years. He was a ten year member of the American Legion in Putnam. Clark served his country in the Army National Guard. Clark is survived by his companion of many years Kathy Foisey of Pomfret, a brother Jay Child of Boca Raton, FL, a sister Dorothea "Dolly" Child of Durango, CO, a niece Christen Child of Boca Raton, FL. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church, 521 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, CT. Burial in the spring.
